Oxford can easily be reached by public transport from:

  • Birmingham Airport (70 mins by train)
  • Heathrow Airport (90 mins by coach)
  • St Pancras International train station (90 mins by London subway and train)
  • London Victoria coach station (120 mins by coach)
  • Luton Airport (120 mins by coach)
  • London City Airport (120 mins by train)
  • London Gatwick Airport (120 - 150 mins by coach)
  • Stansted Airport (195 - 240 mins by coach)

 

Travel within the UK may be booked through National Rail (Birmingham, St Pancras, London City Airport), National Express (Stansted, Luton, London Victoria), The Airline (Heathrow & Gatwick) and Oxford Tube (London Victoria).

Reduced fares for advance booking are available with National Rail and National Express. The other coach companies offer group discounts.

If you arrive in Oxford by coach get off at Queen's Lane (right opposite St Edmund Hall). If you arrive by train or by coach at Gloucester Green you can walk (~20 mins), take a private hire taxi, or the number 5 local bus.
